  1. Theseus and the Minotaur You are Prince Theseus son of King Argeaus and for decades King Minos of Crete has raided the shores of your great city Athens. King Minos now sends an emissary to your shores, offering your people respite from the raids and nine years of peace demanding 7 Men and 7 women of Athens to feed his Minotaur in the maze of Daedalus. Your father tells you to change the black sail of your ship to a white one if you can defeat the beast. Do you accept or deny King Minos’ terms? Accept Deny

  2. You Deny King Minos You refuse King Minos’ demand of your people and he leaves. After three months of no raids it seems as though King Minos has moved onto new ventures, until the dawn of one morning a fleet of King Minos’ ships in a number never before seen lay siege to Athens, your city and her people burn. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!

  3. You Accept His Terms You accept King Minos’ terms and pick out seven young Athenian women and six men, but you do not feel quite right about sending your people to their deaths. Do you join them as the seventh Athenian and vow to slay the Minotaur, or do you pick another man? Join Them Pick Another

  4. You Choose Another You choose another boy condemning them to a death at the hands of the minotaur. King Minos, knowing that Athens military power is no match for him comes back breaking his agreement, demanding yet another offering to feed his Minotaur. Do you accept these terms knowing you will have to volunteer to slay the Minotaur, or deny them? You Accept You Deny

  5. You Have Volunteered You have volunteered to sail across the sea to the island of Crete and defeat the dreaded Minotaur, saving not only your thirteen companions but also the great city of Athens. Onwards To Crete!

  6. Arrival on Crete You are approaching the shores of Crete, the great palace Knossos looming over the island, hiding beneath it Daedalus’ dreaded maze and the beastly Minotaur. Upon arrival you are greeted by King Minos and his beautiful daughter princess Ariadne accompanied by his royal guard. After payment is made to the captain you and your companions are led to separate cells within Knossos, you are lead into a small room with only a stone bed and a small barred window for light, the door quickly shuts behind you and the guards move on. Moments later a series of quiet knocks tap at your door, do you open the door or not? Open The Door Don’t Open The Door

  7. You Open The Door You open the door and princess Ariadne swoops in, she explains to you how this island makes her miserable and she wishes for all the world to see her beauty, she says that if you can slay the Minotaur she will help you escape Crete. To help you slay the Minotaur she will give you a rope to navigate the maze and a sword to slay the Minotaur, she will hide them under a rock to the rightof the entrance inside the Labyrinth. She then leaves shutting the door quietly behind her. Prepare Yourself To Kill The Beast!

  8. Preparations Shortly after two guards come to the door informing you that you and the others will be taken to the Labyrinth at Dawn.

  9. Dawn The next morning you and your companions are led out of your cells by ten armoured guards towards the Labyrinth, upon walking you notice the guard in front of you has his sword unsheathed do you lunge for it or continue towards the Labyrinth? Lunge For The Sword Don’t Take The Sword

  10. You Take The Sword You take the sword and swiftly thrust it through his back, unfortunately the nine other fully armed guards with short swords and bronze plate descend upon you and you are quickly outmatched and killed. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!

  11. The Labyrinth You and your companions are led into the labyrinth and the door shuts behind you, leaving you and your companions alone in this dark desolate place with only small flickering braziers for light, you quickly tell them of Ariadne's plan, firstly you need to retrieve the rope and sword, do you search left of the gate or right? Left Right

  12. Left You frantically search the wall but to no avail. The Minotaur has recognised your presence and has charged from a corridor at you and your companions, unable to defend yourself you are killed. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!

  13. Right You search the Right of the entrance and quickly find a rope and sword, you tie the rope to the gate and tell the others to wait here. Sword in hand do you travel up the left, right or central corridor? Left Right Centre

  14. Left You travel down the left corridor for approximately 100 metres, however this path is poorly lit and as you take another step your foot finds nothing but air sending you crashing into a pit of sharpened spikes. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!

  15. Right You travel down the right corridor for approximately 50 metres before the screams of your comrades force you to turn head, suddenly you are violently dragged back towards the Minotaur by the attached rope, you drop your sword and the Minotaur eats you. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!

  16. Centre You walk down the windy central pathway before coming across the hulking shadow of the Minotaur, armed with your sword and using the light from the mounted braziers you slay the beast! You head back towards the entrance using the rope and find princess Ariadne waiting for you at the opened gate. She then leads you and your companions to a manned boat in the harbour where you tell her the sails must be changed to white at Naxos, you then begin your journey back to Athens. Soon your ship passes the island of Naxos and stops for provisions and wine. Ariadne is sleeping upon the shore when you are ready to leave, do you leave her at Naxos or do you wake her for the journey? Leave her Wake Her

  17. Leave her You leave princess Ariadne at Naxos and continue home but in your drunken state have forgotten to change the sails! Your father sees your ship coming home with black sails and out of grief jumps from the Athenian cliffs into the sea below. Although you are grieving for your dead father you become a hero for you have slayed the Minotaur and saved Athens from King Minos, you name the sea, the Aegean sea after your father and live out your days as the hero of Athens.

  18. Wake her You wake princess Ariadne to come aboard the ship, she notices the sails have not been changed and asks the men to do so. You sail home to Greece with the cheers and chants of every Athenian echoing your name upon arrival, for you have slayed the mighty Minotaur and freed Athens of King Minos.

  19. You Don’t Open The Door The knock persists two more times before the clink of armour approaching sends the person at the door hurrying away, moments later two guards come to your cell door and inform you that you will be taken to Daedalus’ maze at dawn.

  20. Dawn The next day you are led down into the Labyrinth with your fellow companions. The door shuts behind you and you and your companions are left in the dark immersed in light only by small braziers, moments later a roar from the Minotaur sends your companions hurrying off to the different passageways in front of you. Do you follow left, right or the central path? Left Right Centre

  21. Right You take the right passage and are unable to see your friends, soon you take so many passages that you lose your bearings. The screams of your dying companions echo through the halls as you wander the Labyrinth aimlessly. It isn't long before the Minotaur finds you and kills you. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!

  22. Centre You travel along the central path and quickly catch up to your companions, as you do the flickering light gives vision to the hulking beast before you. Before you or your companions have any time to react the Minotaur charges at your group, easily killing you. You Could Not Defeat The Minotaur!
