  10. Customer Examples: Deploying Microsoft cloud solutions • Eastern decided to offer Microsoft cloud-based messaging to their students in conjunction with their previous service. Over 2,200 students enrolled gradually over the first year, plus another 2,600 the following year after the previous service was discontinued. After experiencing the power of cloud and its benefits, Eastern is in the process of moving their alumni to the platform as well. • The Kentucky Department of Education opted for the cloud and implemented a Microsoft-based hosted messaging and collaboration solution.
