  6. Character of God • Elohistic Names • El – "to be strong, Powerful, mighty" • Elohim – Plurality of divine Persons. Used about 2500 times in the Old Testament. Used of the triune God (Exodus 3:1-6,15). Used also of the fullness of the Godhead in the Son (Psalms 45:2,6). • El-Elyon – The Most High God (Genesis 14:18).
