  15. 东北虎:也叫西伯利亚虎、蒙古虎、满洲虎、阿穆尔虎、乌苏里虎、阿尔泰虎、朝鲜虎等。除黑龙江、吉林外,西伯利亚和朝鲜北部有分布。东北虎:也叫西伯利亚虎、蒙古虎、满洲虎、阿穆尔虎、乌苏里虎、阿尔泰虎、朝鲜虎等。除黑龙江、吉林外,西伯利亚和朝鲜北部有分布。     (2)华北虎,曾分布在河北、山西。本世纪初还捕猎过,现已绝迹。 (3)华南虎,也叫中国虎、厦门虎,是我国的特产珍贵动物,分布于长江流域,两广、川、贵、闽地区,现仅残留几十头。     (4)西北虎,也叫新疆虎、塔里木虎。分布在新疆博斯腾湖附近,近年在民间还不断有虎的传闻,是否遗存尚待证实。 (5)西双版纳虎,也叫云南虎、印支虎、南亚虎。分布在马来西亚、泰国、老挝、越南、柬埔寨等国和我国西双版纳。过去被认为是孟加拉虎,经动物学家研究了一百多个虎的标本后,在1968年才确定了这一新亚种虎。

They spend more time on land than many other types of otters.DESCRIPTION: The Asian small-clawed otter is the smallest otter in the world and is about 65 cm. in length and weighs under 5 kg. It has a glossy brown coat with a lighter-colored throat. Its webbed feet have small blunt claws.THREATS TO: Destruction of the otter's wetland habitat
