  1. RODRILL IMPACT MAST MODEL ROIM-45

  2. INTRODUCTION RODRILL Impact Mast is made in America. Masts range from 40’ to 70’ in overall length depending on your order. The mast consists of 4 main parts, the Mast structure, the Sled, the Boom Tip Connector, Vibratory Hammer, Hopper and Mandrel. The Impact Mast is typically installed on an excavator such as John Deere / Hitachi 450 / Caterpillar 345 or larger excavator. Application on smaller machines such as Cat 330 may be possible depending on mast length and vibratory hammer selection. The Impact vibro mast is sold with, and designed to operate with, proprietary vibratory hammers. These hammers are manufactured by American Pile Driving Equipment (APE) located in Kent, WA. These APE Vibratory Hammers are modified specifically for Geopier application. Available hammers range from 500 to 2500 inch pounds of Eccentric moment. The Vibro Hammer is fixed moment, variable amplitude, however variable moment hammers are available on special order basis. We have found that with the crowding ability of the Impact Mast, the fixed moment hammers perform well without the added complexity of the variable moment option. Vibro Hammers are available with Dynamic force ranging from 40 to 150 tons.
