Class Expectations 1.Follow all directions and instructions. 2.Use appropriate behavior for the classroom. 3.Ask permission before you borrow or touch someone else’s personal items. 4.Accept correction without debate. We can discuss the issue after class. 5.Accept “No” without debate. Again, we can discuss the issue after class. 6.Your complete attention during lessons is ALWAYS POLITE. You can talk when you work within your group.

  3. Class Expectations • 7.Be in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings. • Attendance is done by seating chart. If you are out of your seat, you will be absent. • Have your supplies with you. • Asking permission prevents problems • 8.I will dismiss the class when everyone is in their correct seat and things are put away.

  4. Daily Procedures Warm-ups, Journal activities, and Assignments will be on the board or the overhead projector. Write them in your notebook or on a word document. Turn In Notebook in the basket in front. The first person done with the assignment for the day can Pass Out Papers.

  5. Bell Schedule First- 7:25 – 8:10 Second- 8:15 – 9:00 Eagles Nest- 9:05 – 9:35 Third- 9:40 – 10:25 Fourth- 10:30 – 11:15 Fifth – first lunch is at 11:20 and 3rd lunch ends at 12:45 Sixth- 12:50 – 1:35 Seventh- 1:40 – 2:25 You are counted absent after 15 minutes.

  6. Character Development and Student SMART Goals In this period, we will work on building your character traits that will help you be successful in your academic and social endeavors. We, as a class and individuals, will set goals that are simple, meaningful, and attainable. We will relate these goals all aspects of our lives.

  7. Character Development and Student SMART Goals Our first Goal, - to return forms and documents to me signed by parent/guardian by August 30th.
