  1. Stephenson College is taking part in the Learner Views Survey in early 2009. • It’s part of the Framework for Excellence, which establishes how well we are doing as an organisation. • Take part – we need your views!

  2. What’s it all about? • What are your views of your learning experience at Stephenson College Now’s your chance to have your say! • The Framework for Excellence, Learner Views Survey starts on 2 January 2009 and runs until 13 February. Tell us what you think about your learning, the support you are given and how you are treated.

  3. How do you take part? • It’s an online survey. • You can access the Survey at any time during the survey period by logging in to http://ffe.lsc.gov.uk/Surveys/

  4. Do your views count? • Your views are essential. It’s your opportunity to let us know what you think. • Express your views about your learning experience to the body that funds your learning. Your views will be used to generate a rating of the performance of Stephenson College compared with other colleges and providers in England. • This rating will help Stephenson College to know how well we are doing compared with others and to respond.

  5. What happens when the survey is finished? • For 2009, Stephenson College will be sent their results and will decide how to share them with you. In future years, the survey results will be made public. • It is hoped that the results will help learners like you make decisions about where to study. • You will help other learners become better informed.

  6. Is the data safe? • All the research work is undertaken by our research companies for the 2009 Survey, Ipsos MORI and RCU. • The work is carried out in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the Data Protection Act 1998.
