  8. Northbound Truck Transponders • Transponders in truck’s window track in-bond containers • Software clears out bond at border (without paperwork) • Allows Customs to pre-arrive northbound trucks • Operational at this time

  9. Southbound System • Trucks hauling southbound in-bond containers are tagged • Assists Canada Customs intracking exported cargo • Provide U.S. Customs with advance notice of in-bond imports headed for ports • May automatically clear bond at ports

  21. 511 Overview: • Callers are asked to select from the following: • Real-time traffic information for the central Puget Sound area • Roadway conditions and construction information - statewide • Mountain passes (road restrictions and weather conditions) • Ferry Information (connects to ferry info number) • Other (express lane status, phone numbers for public transit, passenger rail, airlines, and adjacent states or provinces.)

Tacoma Narrows Bridge • New toll bridge with six manual toll lanes and 3 electronic toll lanes • Title 21 (or 5.9 GHz DSRC standard) • Transcore to supply, install, operate and maintain tolling system Role – Negotiate agreements and promote interoperability with other regional projects (CVISN, HOT, Mega, etc.)
