  6. Living Libraries-Family Treasures • The Beginning • Spoke with Genealogical Club of Sun City • Menifee Historical Society • Patrons Came in inquiring about the program before first meeting • Everything appeared wonderful

  9. Living Libraries-Family Treasures • Enter the Curve Balls • Kay Ceniceros Senior Center Loses half their staff • A Surprise Grant came in (One that the Library applied for before I was there) • Significant Legacy left to the Library • Professional Challenges

  10. Living Libraries-Family Treasures • Many Questions Began to Arise • Doubt about my own Abilities • Larger, and more important issues took front seat with respect to this project • Doubt about the success of this project

  12. Living Libraries-Family Treasures • Changes • Proof that no matter how futile things can seem there always a path that can be taken • Staff were the people I initial suspected and thought

  13. Living Libraries-Family Treasures • Worked with Groups • Met with hobby clubs at Senior Center • Encouraged those that already use library (Poetry and Photography Club)

  14. Living Libraries-Family Treasures • The Final Results • 14 Stories finished • 4 more still promised • 3 in various editing stages
