Taken directly from PP3 slide 31 • Graduated cylinders shows each line (scale) represents 1 ml increments. • This instrument is accurate to ones place, therefore estimated digit should be in tenth place. • For scaled instruments the estimated digit must be determined by YOU. • Liquid volume is 43.0 ml not 43 ml. The zero, in tenth place, is the estimated digit.

Monday 9/21 Due today: Test Review; Density lab; bubble gum lab • Students – sit where you want • put backpacks against wall • you need calculator, scantron, pencil • Put name on scan tron and test • Mark on scan tron in large pring by your name what version of the test you have there are 6 versions 1,2,3,4,5,6. • When done with test, hand it in and go to lab and talk quietly • Pick up graded lab notebook and this weeks lab Objectives: Ace Unit I Test Homework: PP 13 a electron configuration CN 4.1-4.2; 4.4, 4.8-4.11; 5.1-5.7 and self check 4.1, 4.5, 4.6, 5.1-5.8 due 9/28 DQ: NA Today’s Handouts: Scan tron; Vegium lab may be picked up in the lab after the test
