  2. Update on Oxygen Program “I recently returned from my second deployment to Iraq and I was shocked to find out that so many marriages in my unit were ending in divorce. Most got married just a few months before being deployed. There have been many in my unit that have asked for marriage enrichment training. I am excited to facilitate the Oxygen seminar for my unit. I know that… my units’ marriages will be strengthened.” Chaplain--JBLM • Oxygen for Your Relationships Program • Finished the design and build-out of Oxygen, a program designed to serve families in need at the grassroots level. • Continued enhancement and roll-out of comprehensive back-end support. • Customization of the program to best apply to military and low-income families. • Completed Beta-Testing of Oxygen • Military Families • Low-Income Families • Over 1,200 seminar participants to date • Testimonies and changed-life stories received • Solidified key partnerships to reach “at-risk” families • Military – Army – Joint Base Lewis-McChord, AUSA USO, TriWest Healthcare • Low-Income – YMCA • Church Network • Design of a Facilitator Model to best facilitate growth of this program • 25 couples trained as facilitators to date “This is the first time there has been a sense of hope in our marriage.”
