DINE OUT FOR JESSE’S HOUSE Thursday, February 27,2014 A Special Day For Restaurants And the Community Come Together What is Jesse’s House: An emergency care facility which serves girls and teens in crisis. The home is in Forsyth County but serves counties throughout North Georgia. The home provides more than shelter and basic education. The have counseling for nutrition, individual and group session to help each child thrive and increase their opportunities for future success. What is the DINE OUT event?: Restaurants throughout Alpharetta, John’s Creek, Cumming, Dawsonville and Gainesville join in the cause. The restaurants offer for this one day a percentage of the sales generated to Jesse’s House. How much do I have to Donate or what percentage?: There is no set amount. Some give a flat percentage of sales for the day which each restaurant sets this amount as they decide what is right for their company and others make a generous donation. Where does the DINE OUT money go?: It is specifically earmarked for education and enrichment programs for the children. This may include trips to the Georgia Aquarium, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra or a dance class or college campus tours. It also supports internship programs by providing clothing, transportation and etc. What’s in it for my Restaurant?: Opportunity to attract NEW customers who have never been to your location. Exposure includes your logo on all printed material distributed throughout the area. 3) Logo placement in 3 Forsyth Newspaper Promotional announcements for the event. The event will be promoted on various radio stations directing them to a website where the listing participating restaurant sponsors. Announcements in various local/community newspapers and listed on chamber websites 5) Inclusion on 1,200 pieces being distributed to every parent in Piney Grove Middle School 6) Plus the goodwill of letting your community know you care and are involved in the community.
