  15. SBC SBC VoIP Peering • AudioCodes SBC, embedded in the Mediant 1000 MSBG, controls the media and signaling exchange across the operator boundary. Controlling the media pinhole establishes; policing, dynamic NAPT and firewall traversal, admission control and bandwidth management as well as other inter-working functions. Calling Card • ITSPs, using AudioCodes Mediant™ 1000 Media Gateways for calling card services, can further increase their profit margins and reduce subsequent costs, by taking advantage of excess capacity in the IP network.
