TNB Research Sdn Bhd • Established as a department in TNB, and evolved into a subsidiary in 1993. • It is now a not-for-profit centre for electricity and environmental research. • In 1997, TNBR received approval from MIDA as an R&D status company and became eligible for many governmental incentives. • TNBR focuses on conducting R&D that adds value and are aligned to TNB corporate needs as well as national aspirations.   19. Conclusion Key Benefits From Implementing Standards By having well defined and documented procedure we achieve consistency in our services . Quality is constantly ( monthly) measured through KPI’s. Corrective action and Preventive measure is taken whenever defects occur or when Non Conformance ( NCR) is raised during an audit. Process are regularly reviewed and improvements initiated even before defects in our services occur. Documented procedures helps new employees to understand their responsibilities and work processes. Gains confidence from customers and stakeholders from the various certification program. Increased in revenue stream due to increased of services request and new customers
