    • Fresh engineers: improve their employability chances
  • Program significance: was identified through several surveys and consultation with the industry
  • Expected outcomes: produce qualified/experienced engineers who can compete in local and regional telecom. markets.

  • Through consulting with industry:
    • Knowledge & skills developed in undergraduates are inadequate to address the requirements of managing telecom. Systems
    • Many engineers from Telecom companies pursued MBA programs to improve their managerial, personal & analytical skills
    • MBA do’t provide graduates with up-to-date technical knowledge required for a successful career in managing Telecom companies
