  2. The Integrative Medicine involves the combination of conventional medicine with other treatment models to improve the overall physical condition of a person. Researchers say that techniques from Chinese medicine, massage, naturopathic medicine, counselling and many treatment models should be included in the medical system for better results.

  3. These methodologies are helpful to treat the underlying symptoms and works well to prevent the attack of diseases effectively. Integrative medicine practitioners claim that the success rate is high when multiple practitioners work towards the wellness of the patient.

  4. The patient is well informed about all the available options so that the patient can take informed decisions. Many timespatients are treated with models with less side-affect. If it doesn’t work then the aggressive mode of treatment is provided.

  5. For instance, with obesity, dietary and lifestyle changes could be tried first. This can be combined with counselling, acupuncture, herbal, etc. It this approach doesn’t yield results then surgical methods can be adopted at the last if his/her weight has become a threat to his/her life.
