Housing Stock Options – Preferred Partner Process

  • City Mayor decision 14th May :

  • - development of a detailed offer to tenants that proposes transfer of the remaining housing stock

  • - Invite Salix Homes and 3 strategic partners to submit bids.


The process
The Process

Salix Homes, Great Places Housing, City West Housing, Together Housing were all invited to take part in the competitive process to be the preferred partner landlord.

This complies with draft Government Guidance (July ’13) – encourages use of competitive process to ensure VFM.

Guidance states that all bids need to be able to comply with the regulator requirements, Regulator to consider business plan projections, VFM assessment.
