When detecting irregular voltage, the circuit goes to stand-by mode to prevent

We can classify the signal problem into three by checking whether Picture or Sound

is abnormal.

It is important to check whether both picture trouble and sound trouble occur,

because we can judge the cause is panel or video processor or sound processor.

Hdmi interface

HDMI*1 can transfer digital video signal, audio signal and device control signal

with a single cable.

HDAVI Control uses CEC*2 signal of HDMI. (This function is effective for Panasonic 2006 year model)

CEC signal is two-way and MPUs communicate it through HDMI’s 13 pin.

Video/Audio signals are one-way TMDS*3 signal from DIGA to VIERA.

EDID*4 is transferred through DDC*5 to display the picture at an appropriate resolution.

Extension cable

HDMI Interface IC decodes TMDS signal to digital video and audio signals by using HDCP(*)

and outputs them to VCTP.

Each EEPROM has a different EDID data including monitor information.

LX60 has two HDMI terminals, but those two cannot be used at the same time.
