  14. Classroom Requirements Hands-on Labs • Autodesk is providing a presentation computer pre-loaded with Autodesk software requested through SRC as well as the submitted Datasets • Bring final presentation on a USB drive - presentations will not be preloaded

Classroom Requirements Lectures, Seminars, Panels & Roundtable Classes • Bring your computer pre-loaded with all software required for your class • Bring final presentation on a USB flash drive AV Requirements • We will provide standard set up if no special requirements were ordered • Standard classroom set up found in the Specify Classroom Requirements task

Speaker Ready Room – Toscana 3601 | Level 3 Speaker Ready Room staff will be available to help answer questions and connect you to the right folks as you prepare for your class Hours of Operation: Sunday: 12/1 1:00pm to 7:00pm Monday: 12/2 7:00am to 6:00pm Tuesday: 12/3 7:00am to 6:00pm Wednesday: 12/4 7:00am to 6:00pm Thursday: 12/5 7:00am to 7:30pm

Software Requirements You will receive a confirmation email listing both the hardware and software configuration as well as acknowledgement of any special software requests by Monday November 11th. Please plan to verify software and datasets the evening prior to your class to avoid problems, verification can be done in the IT Support lab. (don’t go into actual lab) Requests for software had to be submitted by October Any questions about software or datasets, please email au.tech.support@autodesk.com by Tuesday, November 12th.

  29. Datasets We are using Dropbox to gather datasets for labs You should have already received an email invitation to Dropbox Why are we using Dropbox? We needed a simple way to process datasets Robust, automated, user friendly, and commonly used What are the benefits of using Dropbox? You are able to make additions/changes until an hour before the class Anything I shouldn’t do? Please don’t upload your datasets in zipped archives Don’t wait to do your main upload an hour before class

The Coveted Speaker Awards Four awards are up for grabs for Best Speaker: • Hands-on lab • Lectures (including seminars and panels) • Newbie Award • Round Tables We tabulate speaker rating from session surveys All speakers will receive their individual feedback from Autodesk Results should be available mid December Winner will receive a $200 Amazon gift certificate (and bragging rights!) Minimum of 25 responses for lab/lecture/newbie and 10 responses for round tables to qualify

Session Feedback • Session feedback is very important to AU. • Encourage your attendees to complete survey at the end of your session. • Session surveys can be completed in AU app, mobile device, PC, or at a survey station. • Each completed session survey enters attendee in that day’s drawing for a free AU 2014 pass. • This will help make AU 2014 better!

Final Presentation Reminders • Please start and end on time. • Please stick to the posted class description • Please make it very clear what you will be covering at the beginning of your class as well as any prerequisites needed • Handouts are key to a good class experience • Stay on track (think about taking questions at the end of class) • Remind the attendees to take their class surveys • We aim for very high quality learning at AU!
