  3. How Hills Form Hills can be formed in many ways. One of the many ways are from melting glaciers and shifting of glaciers. One of the many others are from the current of the water because when the water dries up it makes a hill. Hills can also form by earthquakes with raise of the earths crust or the sinking of the earths crust.

  7. Mountains There is one tribe that is involved with mountains. They are the Rocky Mountain tribes. They are decendanded primarily from Cree who moved West with the fur trade and integrated with tribes in the Eastern Rocky Mountains in Alberta. There traditional territory spanned a great distance: from Jasper North to north Grande : from MC Bride east to Lac state. Although our people are linked to First Nation across Canada, our community has no recognized constitutional status. In 1907, their people were forced to leave Jasper area to create the national park. They were one of the last tribes in Alberta, even Canada, to face cultural upheaval faced by aboriginal peoples in the last century.

  8. Plateaus Plateaus are an area of high level ground. They are like mountains but flat on the top. Usually you would find plateaus in many different places around the world. The worlds largest plateau is in East Asia. Its name is Tibetan Plateau. Did you know the Grand canyon was shaped from a very famous plateau called Colorado Plateau. Some plateaus form underwater. An example of one of them is Mascarene Plateau. It is located in the Indian Ocean.
