What we offer? • One semester abroad • Student Exchange: 3rd semester • One year abroad • Double Degree Programme: 2nd year • More than 160* partners in 40 countries • The universities are approved by BI • Exchange at the Master level is based on high academic standards and relevance. • It is important to ensure that you apply for institutions that offer courses at the right level in order to have the courses approved by the Associate Dean. • *Not applicable for all programmes, due to courses or academic calendar

  8. Costs & Scholarship • You pay tuition to BI • Loan and scholarship in Lånekassen (if eligible) • Language scholarship (NOK 15 500) • Nb! Not if courses are conducted in English • Other scholarships: Erasmus and Norek • Ruhrgas: Business and Economics, Germany (deadline 17 February) www.lanekassen.no

Admission requirements - for the Exchange Programme • GPA average “good C” or better, no pending subjects (30 ECTS) • Satisfactory skills in foreign language • Letter of motivation (in English) • CV (in English) • Interview for certain destinations • Decision is based on an overall evaluation!

  10. Application process • A two-step process: 1. Apply to the IRO • Application deadline:1 February 2010 • Online application form: www.bi.edu/exchange • List of priorities, letter of motivation and CV • Offer: beginning of March followed by nomination 2. Apply to the host university • Final acceptance

  11. Learning Agreement • Course approval: • No duplicate courses • Right level • Relevant according to study programme • Workload for MSc students: 18-24 ECTS

  12. Learning Agreement Specialisation MSc Programmes: • must have all courses approved by the Associate Dean • see lists of recommended universities (guidelines only!) MSc in Business and Economics: • free elective courses directly to the International Relations Office • Electives only, major courses in special cases, but never guaranteed.
