  2. HOW THE TSUNAMI WAS MADE The red dot or square represents where the tsunami started. The tsunami was made by a underwater earthquake. The earthquake hit north of the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

  3. HOW IT START AND WHERE DID IT START The 2004 tsunami was made by a 9.0 under water earthquake. The tsunami started at the west-coast of Indonesia and the tsunami killed nearly 200,000 people in eleven countries and the waves were about 30 metres high. They estimated that it traveled for more than 3,000 miles.

  4. WHERE DID IT START AND WHERE DID IT END The waves started in Sumatra. It travelled from Sumatra to Somalia, Madagascar, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Malaysia, Western Australia and a few other places.

  6. SOME MORE INFOMATION The Australian and Eurasian plates made the earthquake which created the tsunami. The tsunami only stopped because the wave did not have a lot of pressure. When the wave or waves go to land they take debris and even people to open sea.

  7. MORE INFOMATION ABOUT THE 2004 TSUNAMI The tsunami hit at the local time of 07:59 or in our time 11:59. At least 100,000 people were killed in just Indonesia. In Sri lanker over 3,500 were killed and hundreds of fishermen have been lost. $12,000,000,000 has been raised after six months.
