WORKPLAN FOR THE INTERIM REPORT • The Interim Report is the 1st Official evaluation on the project work in progress made by the EU Agency. • The end time of the submission of the Interim Report is the 15h of December • We will have the next trance of money only 60 days after the European Commission will approve it – END OF MARCH 2009 • The Interim Report is composed of 2 parts: • 1. Financial reporting, composed of 2 parts: • Administrative documents to produce linked to the activities done during of project implementation. • A module in Excel to fill concerning all costs spent by each partner • 2. Activities reporting, composed of 2 parts: • - Report on the activity realised during the first year of project implementation; • - The products of the first 12 months

WORKPLAN FOR THE INTERIM REPORT Partners are asked to provide copies (not originals) of all the documents provided for what concerns: • Dissemination activities (copies of all the articles published in each participating coutry as well as documetation of any other dissemination activity); • Copies of outputs and documents presented during the international workshops; • Sub-contracts, invoices, and other administrative documents, properly translated into English.

  5. STATE OF THE ART OF F-MU.S.EU.M. PROJECT • At present time, the F-MU.S.EU.M. Project is • in its 11th month, phase n. 4 • During phases 1 to 3, according to the official project workplan, the following activities have been carried out by the Partnership: • Research activity (months 2nd- 4th): • Products: six research reports available on-line, provided by EURO INNOVANET and validated by the Partners, plus one report provided by TRUST;

PROJECT • Research Report on characteristics and profile of the European Virtual Museum Offer; • Report about new and specific Professional roles needed for building, running and managing a Virtual Museum; • Four case-studies devoted to the best practices in building a Virtual Museum; • Benchmarking of the MU.S.EU.M. Prototype with the four cases of excellence; • SWOT analysis of the nine Museums participating in the F-MU.S.EU.M. Project in order to point out Strengths,Weakness, Opportunities and Threats when building a Virtual museum • Report about the specific actions to be undertaken for the transferibility to the target groups

  7. STATE OF THE ART OF F-MU.S.EU.M. PROJECT • 2.Realization of the web Portalfor the F-MU.S.EU.M. Project, made by TRUST(months 2nd- 4th) • 3. Description of the F-MU.S.E.U.M. Project, the Management Committee, made available on-line. • Other relevant activities carried out: • Realization of a mailing list, provided by the partners, with contact details of Media and Institutions which could be interested in knowing the Project outcomes and products. • Address book of the Project • Selection and updating of the MU.S.EU.M. contact details of Media and Institutions.

MONITORING WORK PROGRESS • In order to create the pre-conditions for the phases related to the experimentation and tranfer activity to establish the Virtual Museum of the European roots, the following activities and products have been realized during phase 3 of the Project: • Elaboration of the Brochure of the Project; • Diffusion via mailing list of two research reports: Survey on nature, characteristic and extent of the European Virtual Museum offer; Report about new and specific professional roles needed for building and managing virtual museum.

  9. MONITORING WORK PROGRESS 3. First Newsletter diffusing the Project contents and main outcomes; 4. Translation activities: translations from English into Italian, Bulgarian and Romanian of the materials coming from the MU.S.EU.M. Project (forms of the items, three e-courses). 5. Web architecture review of the Project, made by TRUST, in order to support the transfer activity: realization of the Database, reserved areas for each Partner Museum, graphic interface, browser.

  10. MONITORING WORK PROGRESS • 6.Elaboration of the F-MU.S.EU.M. Portal’ contents: • General data and profile of the Partner Museums; • Uploading selected items forming the F-MU.S.EU.M. Virtual collection, linking them to the appointed routes; • Diffusion activities by the Partners: promoting and providing local articles about the F-MU.S.EU.M. project and making them available on-line in the specific spaces of the Portal. • 7. Elaboration of the draft texts for the Thematic routes; • 8. Revision and adjustment of the Portal Platform, made by TRUST in cooperation with the Partnership.

  11. ACTIONS FOR MONITORING THE WORK PROGRESS All the work done and the products realized within the first 12 months of the Project has to be monitored and properly documented. Main areas to be controlled through the Monitoring action: • Research and analysis activities • Outputs production and planning • Outcomes and outputs dissemination and valorisation • Timings and deadlines • Human and financial resources implied • External evaluation activity

  12. WORKPLAN FOR THE WORK PROGRESS MONITORING • Partners will receive by email within the first week of October, a form for evaluating the work progress. They are kindly requested to properly fill it. • The data provided within this evaluation form, will be also used for the Interim Report; • The deadline to send back the filled form is 31 October 2008.
