The global app economy reached $53 billion dollars in 2012, and that number is expected to increase exponentially. $24 billion dollars in app sales in the U.S. alone There has never been a better time to begin app development.

  3. Development of an Android App Completely Free Use Eclipse development environment with Android Development Tools Plugin or Android’s ADT Uses Java Can be tested on an emulator or on your own Android device Put it on the Google Play Store ( Also free! )

  4. Getting Started Download Android’s SDK/Eclipse Environment Create a new android project Go through initial Set-up options following Android’s guide

  5. Continuing… The blank document format will automatically include the basic code to get your app to open. All that is left to do is run the emulator….

  6. Your new app! Feel free to save your new app, and even put it onto your Android device! Further development requires knowledge of Java and the structure/ libraries of the Android OS. Android mobile app development has increased by 302% in 2010! Go out and try it!
