  3. Log In(Customer Account Name and Password) Once your customer has entered their log in information, they are ready to begin creating an order.

  4. Search Options Search by product: Your customer can locate items by entering keywords in the “type search keyword” bar to the left of the page (i.e. the word “BEST”). They will notice, their results will include all part numbers and descriptions containing this word. Search for Items To begin creating an order, your customer must search for the items to be purchased. • Search by category: Your customer can also search for items under a product category. By clicking safety supply or expanding the categories by clicking the plus (+) sign, your customer is now able to view all products listed in that category.

Search Results(Information for your customer) • Description column displays a detailed description of the item. • Availability tells them if this item is in stock or not in stock. • UOM or “unit of measure”, tells them how an item is sold • Pricing can be set for a specific customer if required • Add to Cart allows your customer to add items to their order. This is done by selecting a purchase quantity and clicking “Add”.

  6. Adding Items • Add to Cart: Your customer can add items to their cart by clicking Add. This step is repeated each time an item is added to the cart. • Each time a different item is added to the cart, the No. of Items count increases. This feature allows your customer to keep track of the number of items in their cart. • Your customer can also select View Cart located on the right of the page, to view the items they’ve added to their cart.

  7. Review Shopping Cart Review Options • Remove Items: Your customer can remove items from their shopping cart by clicking the delete button left of the product number. The item is now removed from the cart. • Change Quantity: Your customer can modify the quantity of an item by changing the value under the Quantity column and then click Update Qty to update the changes. The order is now updated and ready for check out. • Proceed to Check Out: Once the changes have been made, click Check Out to proceed to the next page.

  8. Check OutStep 1: Shipping Address Shipping Options • Select Address: This option allows your customer to locate a shipping address from the list given. If there are more addresses than shown on this page, an option to view additional addresses will appear. • Search for Address: Your customer can search for an address by entering partial of the address info in the search bar. Click Search to view the results.. • Create new address: Your customer can create a new address by clicking Add New Address. Choose this option to enter new shipping information.  Search for address  Select your address  Add new address

  9. Enter Shipping Address • Enter New Shipping Info: Your customer will enter the new shipping information in the required(*)fieldsand save. A new shipping method is now created. Before they can continue with checking out, they must enter a PO# for their order. The customer’s PO# can consist of alpha or numeric characters or both. For example, John123... • Once complete, click Continue to proceed with checking out.

  10. Checkout Step 2:Payment Payment Options: • On account: This option allows your customer to charge their order to a Dxp customer account. To proceed, choose this option and select Continue. • Credit card: To pay by credit card, select this option and click Continue. Your customer will be required to enter the credit card information.

  11. Enter Credit Card Info • Enter Credit Card Info: Your customer will enter the credit card information in the required(*) fields. An option to save this payment method for future use is available by selecting Save this payment method. • Once complete, click Continue to proceed with checking out.

  12. Checkout Step 3:Verify and Place Your Order • Verify Order: A summary of your customer’s order will appear in this section. Reviewing this information is beneficial prior to placing the order. • Change Shipping Address: Option 1. Shipping is available to modify your shipping address. • Change Billing Information: Option 2. Billing is available to select another billing method. • Cancel Order: Your customer can select Cancel Order to return to the home page to make changes to items on their order. • Click Place Order to complete this order.

  14. Quick Orders Quick Order Options: • Upload CSV File: Your customer can quickly create an order by uploading a comma delimited (.CSV) file into this section. The .CSV file should contain only 2 columns: • Column A (Category): Product category information. Ex… Safety, Mill • Column B (ProductNumber): A valid Dxp product number. Ex…UVEX S1179. • The file must be saved to a folder. Select “browse” to locate the saved file and select “upload file” to see the results. A quantity for each item must be entered. Clicking “process” will add the items to the cart for check out. • By product number: This option allows the customer to quickly create an order by entering a valid Dxp product number and a quantity. Clicking “process” will add the items to the cart for check out.

  15. Recent Orders Review Existing Orders: • Recent Orders: Recent Orders is located on the home page. The customer can browse this section to review any order placed within the past 12 months. Click an order under the Order# column to view the order details. • Order Details: This screen allows the customer to see the order information and status of an order. The order below shows the price for the items, order quantity, quantity shipped and if this item is on backorder.

  16. Make Account Changes:Contact Information • Contact Information: The customer can change their contact information on this page. This information will be used to contact the customer regarding their order. It is important to keep it current.

  17. Make Account Changes:Change Password • Change Password: This option allows the customer to change their password at anytime. Enter a new password and confirm again by re-entering the password. Press “change” to save the new password.
