Preparation and consideration of the draft laws/resolutions, readings in the MilliMejlisExceptional Cases Laws will be able to accept at the first reading The MilliMajlis takes decision on publishing and giving to public discussion the draft law adopted at the first reading In exceptional cases the draft law may be returned to the second reading from the third reading with the request of the majority of deputies attending the meeting of the MilliMajlis If the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan rejects the law adopted by the MilliMajlis within the period of time indicated the MilliMajlis reviews that law again

  6. Laws signing and entry into force The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall sign and publisize laws within 56 days of their presentation A law or resolution of the MilliMajlis shall enter into force on the day of their publication, unless otherwise specified therein
