  3. 1G Service FOA1 Trial Update • Summary • 1G IBH, ISH, APH Launched on 30/01/08 • Service First Office Application Testing continuing post launch • Latest OSS release went live weekend 19/20 July 2008 • Recommendation to close FOA and manage the remaining issues separately • Remaining issues mostly process based, not OSS • Portal • Not considered fit for purpose yet • Tests of fixes for issues delivered in OSS release July 2008 in progress • Meanwhile customer orders are welcome by Customer Requirements Form (CRF) STATIC

  4. 1G Service FOA1 Trial Update • In-Building Handover (IBH) • Three customer journeys were tested • All complete 11/06/08 • Journey 1 • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed 11/06/08 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios completed 04/04/08 • Journey 2 • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed 09/06/08 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios completed 30/04/08 • Journey 3 • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed 11/04/08 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios completed 02/04/08 STATIC

  5. 1G Service FOA1 Trial Update • In-Span Handover (ISH) • Three customer journeys being tested • Journey 1 (Point of Handover Cable Chamber) • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed 02/07/08 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios completed 06/06/08 • Journey 2 (Point of Handover Cable Chamber) • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed 12/05/08 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios completed 18/04/08 • Journey 3 (Point of HandoverOff Rack) • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed 07/04/08 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios blocked • problem: trouble ticket associated to closed planned engineering works • fixes targeted at next OSS release STATIC

  7. 10G Service FOA1 Trial Update • Summary • Proof of concept trial • December 2007 – invitation to proof of concept trial • C21_PP_022, Ethernet Multi–Service Interconnect Link – 10 Gig Proof of Concept Trial • February 2008 – 1 CP requested to participate • C21–PP-026: 10G Ethernet MSIL Trialist Invitation Results and ISH/CSH Requirements • ISH and CSH • February 2008 – consultation on CPs’ requirements • C21–PP-026: 10G Ethernet MSIL Trialist Invitation Results and ISH/CSH Requirements • April 2008 – conclusion not to proceed with ISH and CSH at this time • C21-PP-027, 10G Ethernet MSIL ISH/CSH Requirements Results and Conclusion • IBH and APH • FOA started 14/04/08 • Launched 22/09/08

  8. 10G Service FOA1 Trial Update • In-Building Handover (IBH) • Three customer journeys being tested • Journey 1 • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed • Journey 2 • Lead to Cash (L2C) scenarios completed. • Issue with incorrect connection charges on the bill produced being investigated • Journey 3 • Trouble to Resolve (T2R) scenarios completed • New OSS release went live 03/11/08. • T2R fault with KCIs will be retested.
