  6. How to Get Started? Insert “Didactic Self-Study Modules” or Click Start if installed on a computer.These are in the library and Ob lounge.

  7. How to Get Started? The message “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options…” may appear. Select “Allow blocked content”

  9. Quick Time and Flash After the modules menu opens: Click “Help” in the top right corner. Scroll to the bottom Check for presence of Quick Time 4 Flash 4

  10. Quick Time and Flash If you get this, you will need Sonja, Randy, Shannon or one of the IT group for UTHSC or UTMG to install the software. Sonja, Randy and Shannon have seen it. These are installed in the ob lounge and the resident office. Faculty computers should be OK for installation.

  15. Complete each module, then – Use your ID to log on towww.ResidentEducation.com Enter your ID informationthe first time you sign-in. Take the initial module test

  17. www.ResidentEducation.com Enter you user ID in both boxes the first time you sign in to take the tests. e.g. 126948 as both Used ID and Password. It will ask you to select a new password. The new pass word is to be used after that.

  21. Check Knowledge Check Knowledge is a competitive test game. Use this after completing all modules.

  26. Reporting Lab Results The labs are recorded at residenteducation.com. Make sure this is done so that you can keep your records current. Log on to http://www.residenteducation.com. Go the resident's learning report. To record completion of labs, we will use the Ethicon entries that fit our labs. Click on the name of a lab. Answer the question confirming that the lab has been completed. Click “Submit”. This will change "incomplete" to "complete."
