• Ex: 0.375

• Decimals that have a pattern in their digits that repeats forever are called repeating decimals.

• Ex: When we write as a decimal, the three repeats indefinitely.

• We use bar notation to show that a number pattern repeats indefinitely.

• Ex: 0.333… is written as 0.
