  2. 1) Anarchy – total absence of government Government officials fled the country leaving it in a state of anarchy.

  3. 2) Apprehend – to seize; arrest; grasp the meaning of The terrorist was apprehended just before he boarded the plane. He never fully apprehended what happened.
