Knowledge Transfer Accelerating Innovation KT Group @ HR Induction Program slide 14 Life Sciences Section • In particular, the Life Sciences Section: • Provides information and advice to the CERN management on all questions of life sciences which may be relevant to CERN • Gives advice to and participates in activities dealing with life sciences carried out CERN wide • Continues and expands the participation in EC funded R&D and training projects across a distinguished network of European research centres, universities and healthcare companies • Enhances the ENLIGHT network for hadron therapy and expand CERN’s collaboration to external life sciences activities • Promotes and organizes knowledge exchanges events in the multidisciplinary domain of medical applications, bringing together Physics, Biology and Medicine expertise for the advancement of cancer treatment.
