  2. Tú me ofreces la vida con tu muerte y esa vida sin Ti yo no la quiero; porque lo que yo espero, y desespero, es otra vida en la que pueda verte.

  3. Tú crees en mí. Yo a Ti, para creerte, tendría que morirme lo primero; morir en Ti, porque si en Ti no muero no podría encontrarte sin perderte.

  4. Que de tanto temer que te he perdido, al cabo, ya no sé qué estoy temiendo; porque de Ti y de mí me siento huido.

  5. Mas con tanto dolor, que estoy sintiendo, por ese amor con el que me has herido, que vivo en Ti cuando me estoy muriendo.
