Semester Schedule • August 28th Callout/Police Dog Demo (Lynn 1136) • September 11th Dr. Salisbury/ Tours 6-7 pm.(Lynn 1136) • September 24th(MONDAY!)- U of Glasgow (Lynn 1136)(Pizza) • October 16th Dr. Smith (G167) • October 30th Halloween Meeting (G167) • November 13th (G167) Tim Kerr • November 27th (Lynn 1136)Dr. Waddell • December 4th (Lynn 1136) ALL MEETINGS WILL BE HELD AT 7 PM

  3. Club Requirements • Attend all meetings with one unexcused absence • Attend 2 socials per year • Participate in 2 fundraisers per year • Complete 10 hours of community service/volunteer hours per year

  13. Community ServiceCasey Woehrmann Walk for Wolves Fundraiser Saturday, September 15, 9am-1pm Located at Wolf Park Please let me know ASAP if you want to go!! Columbian Park Zoo - Boo at the Zoo October 24, 25, 26 (Exactly which day TBD) 6:30-9pm Community Action Day October 27 Purdue Winterization Saturday, November 10, 7:30 – 1pm Later on in the year: Food Finders and Wildcat Creek Wildlife Center. I will take any suggestions into consideration!!

  14. ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES • Imagination Station is seeking volunteers on Saturdays, 9am-2pm. Requesting that a volunteer be able to stay at least 3 hours. Call Jamie at 765-420-7780 for more information! • Tippy Connect Tri-N-Run training September 22. Volunteers are needed for Registration, Route Directional Assistance, and Timing and General Setup. Volunteers meet at 7-8am at N parking lot of Ross Ade and stay until 11:30. For more information email Tressa at tressa@heath-cpa.com or call 765-448-4100. • 1st Annual Purdue Boilermaker Half Marathon on October 19th - 20th. For more info or to sign up go to http://purduehalf.com/volunteers.html or email: volunteer@purduehalf.com • American Heart Association for Lafayette Heart Walk on afternoon of September 21st and morning of September 22nd from 7:30-9. The event takes place at Subaru of Indiana Automotive. Contact Ashley Strickland at 317-625-3668 or Ashley.strickland@heart.org.

  16. Symposium/ Ag Council Rep. • 2013 National Symposium is held @ University of Florida Gainesville We will keep you posted when more information is posted!

  17. Are you interested in Undergraduate Research? • Max Parkanzky is a 2nd year vet student and a graduate student in Comparative Pathobiology. He is looking for a student to work in the lab doing a variety of tasks: • Contact zoos, pet owners, and breeders • Helping with fecal diagnostics • Occasionally helping collect samples at nearby zoos! If your interested contact Max @  maxparkanzky@purdue.edu Be sure to have a resume and your availability ready!
