  1. Romans12:1–2

  2. Live to Serve . . . “the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” Matthew 20:28.

  3. All About Change • “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. • And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is that which is good and acceptable and perfect”Romans 12:1-2.

  4. An Acceptable Sacrifice! “but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ” 1 Peter 1:19.

  5. Qualified! “Joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light” Colossians 1:1-12.

  6. A Holy Temple • “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? • For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

  7. A Holy Change • “For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren”Romans 8:29. • “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:18.

  8. A New Life! “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me” Galatians 2:20.

  9. Transfigured/Transformed “And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light”Matthew 17:2.

  10. More & More new “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit” Titus 3:5.

  11. Mind Set on the Things of God • “For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. • For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace”Romans 8:5-6.

  12. Set Your Mind, and do . . . • “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. • The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you”Philippians 4:8-9.

  13. Mature in Christ . . . • 1 Corinthians 2:6: “We do speak wisdom among those who are mature.” • 1 Corinthians 14:20: “In evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature.” • Ephesians 4:13: “until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man.”

  14. Like Christ in all things . . . • Temple: “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? • Sacrifice: “But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood” Hebrews 9:11-12. • Priest: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9.

  15. Our deepest desires as Christians “Holiness is the naturalness of the spiritually risen man, just as sin is the naturalness of the spiritually dead man, and in pursuing holiness by obeying God the Christian actually follows the deepest urge of his own renewed being” J. I. Packer
