Nags Head NC – Key Results • Older substandard systems (like sand bottom tanks) are impacting water quality • Systems at or in seasonal groundwater tables are impacting water quality • Systems close to surface waters have highest potential for impact • There are some clusters or neighborhoods which can be targeted for management efforts
