  4. Passive Voice • Naaman was healed of leprosy when he dipped seven times in the Jordan River (2 Kings 5:14). • “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone’” (Matthew 4:4). • “Blessed are they which are persecuted” (Matthew 5:10). • “He was bruised for our iniquity” (Isaiah 53:5). • “To everyone who has will be given and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him” (Luke 19:26).

  5.
