  2. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP1 Click the 'Start' button and then click the 'Control Panel' in your Windows 7.

  3. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP2 Click on the 'User Accounts and Family Safety' link.

  4. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP3 Click on the 'User Account' link.

  5. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP4 Click the 'Create a password reset disk' link on the left pane.

WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS Note: Please make sure your computer has connected with some portable media for this password reset disk like a flash drive, a blank USB flash drive, otherwise you will get a No Drive warning message! Besides, Windows 7 doesn't support creating a password reset disk with a CD/DVD or external hard drive.

  7. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP5 Click on the 'Next' button when the forgotten Password Wizard window appears.

  8. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP6 Choose the portable media drive through the drop down box to create a Windows 7 reset disk on. And then click 'Next' to continue.

  9. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP7 Enter your current account password into the text box. And then click 'Next' to continue.

  10. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP8 Windows 7 will create the password reset disk on your disk or USB flash drive. When the progresses finished and showing 100% complete, click 'Next'.

  11. WINDOWS 7 TUTORIALS STEP9 Click 'Finish' and remove the flash drive from your computer.
