  3. Priority Registration • April 2 • Special populations • April 5 • Graduate Students • April 6-16 • Undergraduates • Registration is based on hours earned • The assigned registration time is from that date/time forward • Student views assigned time in RaiderNet

  4. Priority Registration Preparation • As you review your advisee lists keep in mind that we may have a file in our office • Please call or email if you would like for us to check on a file

  5. CUSTOMS • Freshmen Orientation • 6 Dates- • May 26 • June 3 • June 15 • June 23 • July 16 • July 28 • Faculty advising needed in the afternoon

  6. Transfer Advising • 5 Dates- • May 14 • June 11 • July 9 • August 6 • August 23 • Faculty advising needed in the morning

  8. Scheduling Appointments Online • Students may schedule advising appointments though the Pipeline calendar • If you are interested you may also set up your own calendar for this option • Please contact us if you are interested • www.mtsu.edu

  9. Transfer Credit • English • MTSU will now post credit from both TBR and non-TBR institutions for English credit via, CLEP, ACT, DANTES, CEEB/AP • Please have the student contact the Admissions Office if they have this credit

  10. Transfer Credit • History • In accordance with the revision of the state law MTSU will accept any transfer course that met that student’s General Education requirement for HISTORY • If the transfer institution did not have a History category then a combination of History courses may satisfy • Only applies to TRANSFER students • TBR, UT, private and out of state public and private institutions • Contact Ann Reaves at areaves@mtsu.edu • The appropriate adjustment will be made to the students Degree Evaluation

  11. Webmail • Webmail is being outsourced this summer • New students for will receive the new extension • Existing students and staff will not be effected at this time • New address will look like: • pbt2c.mtmail@mtsu.edu

  12. BANNER Upgrade • April 17-April 25 Pipeline/RaiderNet will not be available for a scheduled upgrade • If you need access please call the Records Office at 898-2600 or ITD Help Desk • Restricted access will allow you to view transcripts, degree evaluation and schedule of classes for advising purposes • Permits/overrides, overloads, clearing holds, course maintenance will not permitted during this time • Degree Evaluation will have a different look-stay tuned for more information

  13. BANNER Upgrade con’t • New transfer students will begin registering after the conversion is complete • A tentative date of May 3rd is what is being promoted; but it may be as late as the 7th
