  3. EmeraidNutritional Care System • The Emeraid Nutritional Care System is designed to quickly provide life-saving nutrition to a wide variety of species. • Depending on the species, Emeraid Herbivore, Emeraid Omnivore, and Emeraid Carnivore may be fed singly or in combination.

Emeraid® Herbivore • Emeraid Herbivore is the first semi-elemental diet designed to meet the needs of the critically ill herbivore • This diet contains high fiber to enhance gastrointestinal motility • Use Emeraid Herbivore in small mammals like the chinchilla, rabbit & guinea pig as well as reptiles like the green iguana, tortoises, and Uromastyx spp.

Emeraid® Omnivore • Emeraid Omnivore is the first semi-elemental diet designed to meet the needs of the critically ill omnivore • Use Emeraid Omnivore in small mammals like the mouse and sugar glider as well as birds including psittacine birds, passerine birds, gallinaceous birds, doves and pigeons, domestic ducks, as well as dabbling ducks like the mallard and canvasback.

Emeraid® Carbo-Boost • Formerly Emeraid I, Carbo-Boost is a mixture of simple and complex carbohydrates designed for rapid absorption to quickly provide calories. • Compare Carbo-Boost (1 kcal/ml) to 5% dextrose (0.2 kcal/ml). • Carbo-Boost may also be added to water to hide the taste of some medications.
