OPC server news (1) CAEN power supplies (HV and LV) • OPC server free available for all their modules from http://www.caen.it/computing/scdown.php - Last OPC server version - 2.9 (march 2005) • Supports Crates SY127, SY403, SY527, SY1527, SY2527 • Easy 3000 (harsh environment) system included • Downloads from www.caen.it • Framework currently supports the following Easy boards: • LV: A3006,A3009,A3016,A3025,A3100, A3050 • HV: A3506P/N, A3507P/N, A3512P/N, A3535P/N, A3540P/N • Mixed:A4601 H/F Alice DCS workshop, Geneva S.Popescu

NICAN driver, KVASER CANLIB driver) • Current free OPC version: CANopen OPC Server+ DA 2.5 • http://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/DAQTRIG/DCS/ELMB/DIST/ELMBdoc.html • Framework 2.3.5 fwELMB – ELMB v 3.2.1, and ELMB PS – v 1.0.4 components available • OPC server working very well for temperature monitoring (PT100, PT1000 and NTC sensor • Also working also for B-field sensor – “simple version” (produced by NIKHEF) • “addressable version” needs a modification of the present OPC server Alice DCS workshop, Geneva S.Popescu

OPC server news (4) Iseg HV power supplies • OPC server available from Iseg • Free download from www.iseg-hv.de • CAN interface: Peak PCI, USB • Last OPC version is 4.06 (not tested yet!) • Framework fwIseg 2.1 works with • OPC server 4.02 • Framework version 2.3.5 • PVSS II 3.0.1 SP - not 3.1!!!
