  10. Think outside the classroom The Church’s catechetical vision does not endorse a single model. There are multiple ways to deliver the Church’s vision. Methods for teaching that happen in the home: • Games • Songs • Stories • Rituals • Parties • Hugs • Tears • Laughter • Long walks • SHOW AND TELL • mostly SHOW

Details for First Reconciliation • Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7:00 p.m. combined with Parish Reconciliation Service • Prayer Service – Want to make it a prayerful and solemn (but not somber) celebration • Plenty of Confessors for individual confession • In different areas of the church for privacy • Parents strongly encouraged to go to Confession – model it • Should take about 60 minutes • Bring some religious material for them to read after they go to Confession.

  18. First Reconciliation/First Eucharist Registration • Complete Both Sides • Four Options for First Eucharist • Will begin accepting forms on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
