Methods Summary • Telephone poll (including both landlines and cell phones) • Conducted March 17 – April 11, 2010 • Nationally representative random sample of adults in the United States: 2355 respondents—includes 1123 White, Non-Hispanics; 330 African American, Non-Hispanics; 317 Hispanics excluding American Indians and Alaska Natives; 262 American Indians / Alaska Natives; and 268 Asians. • Data weighted to match U.S. Census on: gender, age, race, education, and region. Data also adjusted to NHIS estimates of cell phone usage. 29
