  9. The new HEA UKPSF • The new HEA UK Professional Standards Framework for teachers in HE has four levels: • Associate Fellow • Fellow • Senior Fellow • Principal Fellow

  10. Routes to recognition • The OU now supports two routes • The individual route Five stages to professional recognition [Associate Fellow (£100), Fellow (£200)] • The institutional route OpenPAD [Free]

  11. Offers support to ALs who wish to apply to the HEA through provision of a five step approach and a selection of forums which are moderated by three ALs. A general (welcome) forum and other more focused forums enable ALs to seek support and discuss how their role relates to the UK Professional Standards Framework. The individual route

  12. OpenPAD Applicants work through the materials of OpenPAD as well as undertaking a Practitioner Inquiry.
