  2. Getting startedGRO looks and feels like the high-quality print magazine. Once you learn a few basics you’ll find it easy to use.The first screen you see when you log on to Good ReadingOnline (GRO), is ALWAYS the current edition, which is updated every month. Simple instructions Easy-to-use toolbar with access to the contents page, print and email functions, help, search and archive buttons

  3. Browsing an issueof Good ReadingYou can start browsing immediately by clicking the arrows on the left or right of the screen to turn the pages.

  4. Getting startedThe toolbar allows easy access to a wide range of functions including: • Index and thumbnail search of the issue being browsed • Printing • Email a friend • Keyword search • Archive search and selection • System help

  5. Browsing an issue of Good ReadingClick on the index button on the toolbar to get a table of contents displayed for the issue you currently have open. You can then select a page or article, either by choosing from the index listing on the left-hand side, or scrolling the toolbar acrossand choosing one of the double-page spread thumbnail images.

  6. Browsing an issue of Good ReadingMost pages have many underlined hyperlinks to additional information on the Good Reading website. Click on any of these links to find more information on a specific item.

  7. Browsing an issue of Good ReadingTo read a page you need to zoom in on it.Hover the mouse over the page or article you’d like to read, and click. Now hold the mouse button down and drag the page around on your screen to read it. When you’ve finished, click again to zoom back to normal access.

  8. Accessing the Good Reading websiteAt the top of the page you’ll find buttons that will take you to lots of additional information at www.goodreadingmagazine.com.au. Each of these buttons will take you to a different area of the Good Reading website. To log on to the subscriber area of the Good Reading website, click on the ‘GR HOME’ button. Log on to the Good Reading website as a subscriber

  9. Accessing the Good Reading websiteClicking on ‘GR HOME’ will take you to the Good Reading website at www.goodreadingmagazine.com.au where you’ll be logged in as a website subscriber. Click on the ‘OK’ button to access additional information, such as reading group notes, teachers’ notes, book synopses and much more.

  10. Getting startedTo log out of Good Reading Online, go to the online magazine and click on the ‘LOGOUT’ button, or close the window.
