  2. SavitribaiPhule Birthday • SavitribaiPhule was born on 3rd January 1831. • Savitribaiwas born in Satara district of Maharashtra. • SavitribaiPhule, the First Indian Woman Teacher. • She was not only a teacher but also a social reformer, activist and poet.

  3. About Her mother was Laxmibai and her father was KhandojiNavsePatil. Savitribaigot married at a very early age of nine with JyotiraoPhule.whowas thirteen in the year 1840. She is very catchy in education, see that attraction her husband teach her.

  4. Savitribaiphule social work Work Done By SavitribaiPhule • Schools opened by savitribaiphule:After completing her studies Savitribai and Jyotirao opened a school in Pune. Slowly they both were able to open five more schools in the year 1848. • Improving the society’s view towards “widow remarriage in India”. • Savitribai and Jyotirao strongly opposed Sati Pratha. • She took the responsibility ‘SatyashodhakSamaj’ which was founded by her husband.
