  3. Background • JPA Established February 11, 1994 • Provides for: • Annexation Boundary • Notification Requirements • Rural Settlement Protection • Land Use Designations

  4. Proposed Amendments • Changes to Joint Land Use Map (JLUM) • Two Land Use changes • Boundary change • Text changes to JPA: • Modifies notice requirements

  5. Proposed Amendments (cont.) • Amends the Joint Land Use Map from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Commercial (COM) • South of West Road, west of 429 • 18.76 acres

  6. Proposed Amendments (cont.) • Amends the Joint Land Use Map from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Commercial (COM) • Northeast corner of Roberson Road and Tomyn Boulevard • 15.97 acres

  7. Proposed Amendments (cont.) • Amends the western boundary of Ocoee JPA to be consistent with eastern boundary of the Winter Garden JPA • Winter Garden is in agreement with the changes to the boundary

  8. Proposed Amendments (cont.) • Text Changes • Allows required notices by facsimile • Notice required 30 days prior to Public Hearing in lieu of 10 days after receipt of application • Notice of Annexations 15 days prior to Public Hearing in lieu of 10 days after receipt of application
