ESF 1&3 – Transportation & Public Works • Current Issues • TOLL STATUS • Tolls remain suspended until further notice as follows: • Northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike from the US 1-Florida City interchange (Exit 1) in Miami-Dade County to the Three Lakes mainline toll plaza at Milepost 236 in Osceola County • Northbound and southbound Sawgrass Expressway (Toll 869) • Eastbound and westbound Alligator Alley (I-75)

ESF 6 – Mass Care • Current Issues • Shelters - 9 Counties have 17 Shelters with 1,560 inhabitants • Meals - 141,460 served 10/29/05 • Today ARC has 52 fixed feeding sites and 67 mobile units operational. • TSA is operating 5 fixed feeding sites and 23 mobile units. • The Southern Baptist Association is operating 17 Kitchens preparing meals for ARC and TSA. • Unmet Needs • Fuel for the Kitchens • Future Operations • To continue coordinating the acquisition of resources for distribution to effected communities by TSA and the ARC Up Next – ESF 8

ESF 8 – Health & Medical • Current Issues • Total deployments include 33 personnel as of noon today. • Two critical stress management personnel sent to Monroe CHD this morning • Poison Control Center data shows: • Cumulative total 8 confirmed, 14 probable, 5 suspect carbon monoxide exposures. • 37 gasoline exposures from siphoning • Approximately 155 water systems in the area under precautionary boil water notices • Investigation of illness reports is underway in Key West • Over-the-counter drug sales in the affected area are being monitored • Working to get generators/fuel to high-rise buildings • Additional health posters and material sent into impact area • A 3 person advance Rapid Needs Assessment survey team from CDC arrived in Hendry County yesterday. • Sending out strike teams with the Environmental Health Assessment Teams to assure community issues are addressed • Pharmaceutical supplies en-route for the 6 mobile clinics • Monitoring debris removal/rodent/vector control issues
