  2. Summary Egyptian Farming was pretty important because they needed plants for a lot of things. The farmers were poor and the family worked together. They plowed the field and used irrigation to get water to their fields. During the harvest everyone went to gather.

Egyptian Farming Facts • One of the first groups on earth to begin farming. • The Egyptians counted on the Nile to keep them alive. • They used plows. • Used a lot of cattle. • Animals trampled seeds into the ground. • Egyptians used honey bees and collected their honey to make their food taste better.
