Both hitters returned unbeaten. After nearly two hours of weather delays, the game was shortened

After being given the opportunity to bat first, Nepal made a valiant attempt, scoring 230 runs before they ran out of wickets in 48.2 overs. As the first player from Nepal to score a half-century against India, Aasif emerged as the camp's star batter. Before falling out to Siraj in the 30th over, the opener had scored 58 (97). Also with excellent intentions, Sompal Kami added 48(56) to Nepal's total before getting out to Mohammad Shami in the 47th over.
