  4. World Book Day Modern Early Years, Charmwood Branch celebrated World Book Day on the 24th of April 2018 with great enthusiasm and fervor. The day started with the morning assembly where the children had a talk on the significance of books in enhancing their day to day learning and knowledge. Our tiny tots beautifully articulated their thoughts on this extremely important topic. Teachers took children for the library session where they came across various books of their choice and were completely engaged in discovering so many exciting books. Kids read books of their interest. Story telling is one of the most effective medium to create lifelong learning in young minds. Teachers imparted moral education to the students through extremely entertaining and engaging stories (to name a few Lion & the Mouse, The rainbow fish, Hair & the tortoise). Teachers exhibited their creativity and carried fascinating props (Puppets, pictures etc.) along with them to enhance the overall learning experience for the students while telling them discreetly selected stories. Students thoroughly enjoyed these immersive stories and were totally engaged throughout this session. To memorize the special day students designed book mark crafts with the help of their mother teachers.

World Creativity Day World Creativity Day at Modern Early Years, Charmwood branch started like a grand celebration where children indulged in a lot of creative activities in the school and their creative endeavors brought the best out on this day. Children did creative craft designing in which they used several decorative materials to decorate their craft. The school showcased the creative and cognitive abilities of children and demonstrated the work done by the children during the creativity day. Teachers decorated the school with craft work made during the day. Collective efforts of teachers and diligent children resulted in the grand success of World Creativity Day.

  7. Warm Beginning of New Session 2018-19 Armed with brand new bags, uniform and stationery, students entered their school on the very first day on Monday with mixed feelings of excitement and fear. Students grabbed their backpacks and sported their newest back-to-school outfits. During initial days of school children settled down in their new classes and met their new mother teachers which was followed by a walk through with various facilities and sections designed for various activities which includes activity zone, mini gym, library, art &craft, music room and play area. Most of their time was spent in playing, solving puzzles, enjoying on swings, taking nature walk, clay modeling, storytelling, coloring and painting and exploring activity zone. Kids designed beautiful welcome crafts like welcome badge, cards etc with the help of their mother teacher. Entire faculty members helped kids to get adjusted and be comfortable in the school environment. Everyone had a great day!
